Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30 | | Beginning January 23rd and running throughout the months of January, February and March, we will be offering Children's Cooking Classes on Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 4:30 to 5:30. Our classes consist of four individual one hour sessions revolving around a central theme. A cost of $75.00 per student includes all foods, a paper chef hat and a cookbook at the end of the session filled with all the recipes they've prepared. Tuesday's classes are open to Children aged 8 to 10 years old. Thursdays classes are open to children aged 5 to 7. Classes are also forming for Older Children and a Mommy and Me class is also being put together. This class will be a Two part hands-on course to help support your desire to change. Part one will deal with detoxifying from the holiday season and will include nutritional theory, cooking, as well as juicing. Part two will show how to gradually introduce new healthy foods into your diet while at the same time crowding out those foods that are harmful to you.

Friday, May 26, 2006 @ 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. | Greetings Everyone. I hope all is well with you all. It is with a great deal of sadness that I'm announcing that this Friday's Drum Circle will be the last Patti and I will be able to host for the forseeable future.
Being introduced to the world of drumming and all the wonderful people therein has affected us profoundly in a positive way, but the financial obligations required for the upkeep of our "Living Room" has become too much of a burden for us to bear and after this weekend we will be closing up that piece of our business and concentrating our energies on providing the community with Life Sustaining Foods and Good Vibes.
We've had a great couple of months and I would like to sincerly thank all of you who took the time to come out and create with us. I also hope some of you can make it out this Friday to help us send our little room off to it's next incarnation in a manner befitting it with Joy and Music and Dance.
For those who may be curious, I will still be sending out emails about all the events we find ourselves being a part of and I look very forward to seeing you ALL coming in to eat with us from time to time. *WINK*
The Drumming this Friday will begin at 8:00pm and the cost is Ten Dollars. If you haven't been to one of our Circles yet, we're at 1842 E. Jericho Trnpke. in the Dix Hills Super Center next to the Yoga Oasis East. (Across the street from DSW Shoes) If you have any questions on our whereabouts, we can be reached at 631-462-4620.
